Supporting Your Safety

The FLC is following CDC guidelines for COVID-19 safety at the National Meeting.   Proof of vaccination and/or a negative test is required to attend the meeting. The FLC has contracted with a third-party vendor to collect that information.  The FLC understands that all federal employees must be vaccinated by Executive Order and the FLC system will accept federal employees that affirm they have been vaccinated without additional proof.

At this time, Cuyahoga County and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health have issued a mask advisory, urging individuals to wear a mask in public indoor settings, regardless of vaccination status. The County recommendation follows updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advising all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask when indoors and near others in areas of substantial or high transmission. According to CDC data, Cuyahoga County is currently considered an area of “high transmission.” While all State of Ohio COVID-19 health orders have expired, some venues, events and businesses may require proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test for admission. Visitors are encouraged to confirm any safety measures that may be in place at specific locations or events prior to their trip. For more information on the status of COVID-19 in Ohio, including current infection and vaccination rates, visit the Ohio Department of Health website.
